This policy explains how Serene Setting(“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit this website or ask us to design a ring. We are a custom jewelry studio based in the Kansas City area, Missouri.
Information we collect
- Consultation requests: your name, email address, phone number, the occasion, your timeline and budget range, your metal, stone and shape preferences, any message you write, and up to three inspiration images you upload.
- Discount sign-ups: your email address.
- Customers: the details we need to design, make, deliver and support your piece, such as ring size, delivery address and payment records.
- Website usage: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager record how the site is used, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you found us. See Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry, prepare designs and quotes, and make and deliver your ring;
- to send you the discount you signed up for and, if you asked for them, occasional offers;
- to keep business, tax and warranty records;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it;
- to prevent spam and misuse of our forms.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the studio:
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend delivers enquiry and sign-up emails to us.
- Airtable stores enquiries in our customer records system.
- UploadThing stores the inspiration images you upload.
- Google provides website analytics.
- Rosey Co, our web agency, maintains the website on our behalf.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, and customer and order records for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- You can block analytics cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado or Virginia), you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We will honor these requests where they apply, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to your information is limited to the people and services that need it. No online service is completely secure, so please don't send payment card details through our forms.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
